  • Lee Norris reflects on his ‘Tree Hill’ years & looks forward for Mouth & himself!
Post Categories: lee norris • By Owner • 3 May, 2010
Lee Norris

Lee Norris has literally grown up in front of our eyes with his wealth of television role experiences. As a young kid he made his acting debuts on Disney’s The Torkelsons and ABC’s Boy Meets World. But no character has allowed him to truly grow and make a name for himself as an actor like that of Mouth McFadden on One Tree Hill. For the past seven years Norris has been playing a role that has taken him on a journey of various routes as an actor, encountering all kinds of challenges one can encounter from the high-school to young adult ‘real’ world. And through it all, his character has remained the loyal, humble friend. A quality whom anyone who spends even a small amount of time with Lee Norris can see is something he shares with his on-screen role. In our interview, Norris reflected back on his most significant story lines with Mouth, the on set moments he’ll never forget, as well as what he hopes to see happen for Mouth and for himself. He also shares what life on One Tree Hill and in Wilmington has taught him about, well, life!

  • Will One Tree Hill Survive? James Lafferty Weighs In
Post Categories: James Lafferty, show news • By Owner • 3 May, 2010

As our Save One Show results can attest, the fans still care about One Tree Hill. A lot. But with regulars being cast in new pilots, and no word yet from the CW about the 2010-11 season, One Tree Hill fans are a bit…concerned.

The good news? OTH returns this very Monday with new episodes, and there’s still time to prove this series is worth keeping around. (Psst: Tell any friends with Nielsen boxes to watch!)

We just got scoop from James Lafferty (Nathan) himself on where OTH season eight stands, what to expect for the rest of the current season, and why the season finale is taking place in (SPOILER ALERT)…

Utah?!

First, though, here’s what James says about the show’s chances of a season eight: “I don’t want to think negatively, but at the same time it’s realistic that it could be our last season. I’m not going to know how I feel until it happens. It’s like the end of an era.”

But don’t start panicking yet, kids! Just because he’s being realistic doesn’t mean he’s already jumped ship. In fact, everyone is all aboard for season eight.

“I’m signed on. Everybody’s signed on. It’s all ready to go. There’s been no conflict on our parts. It’s up to the powers that be.” So, at least we know that should One Tree Hill be renewed, they can hit the ground running with the same characters. But not exactly the same storylines. James did dish on the rest of the season, and he references lots of “changes” and “decisions.”

As reported earlier by LookToTheStars.org, Avril Lavigne and Natalie Cole will perform at the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis’ Race To Erase MS in May. We can now reveal the other celebrities who will be attending, and the list is long and varied.

Among the famous faces slated to attend are Tom Arnold, Shenae Grimes, Ed Begley Jr., Kristen Bell, Lara Flynn Boyle, Brooke Burke, Cheryl Burke, Sophia Bush, Kristin Cavallari, Cat Deeley, Haylie Duff, David Faustino, Daisy Fuentes, Teri Garr, Leeza Gibbons, Debbie Gibson, Heart, Anne Heche, Paris Hilton, Derek Hough, Stephanie Jacobsen, Kym Johnson, Kim Kardashian, Ali Landry, Joe Manganiello, Gilles Marini, Dr. Phil McGraw, Rickey Minor, Joel David Moore, Nancy O’Dell and many others.

Each year since its inception the celebrity filled gala has raised millions for the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis and its Center without Walls program, a selected network of the nation’s top seven research centers that operates with one mutual goal: to always communicate and never duplicate medical research.

Race to Erase MS will once again host a star-studded Tommy Hilfiger fashion show and special opening number by the cast of “Dancing with the Stars”. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception and silent auction at 6:30 pm – including fabulous celebrity autographed memorabilia, vacation getaways and experiential packages – followed by a one of a kind live auction featuring the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Coup, gala dinner, and live entertainment.

The Race To Erase MS takes place at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles on May 7, 2010. Tickets and information are available here.

  • Stephen Colletti on life from Laguna Beach to ‘Tree Hill’!
Post Categories: Stephen Coletti • By Owner • 29 April, 2010
Stephen

When Stephen Colletti first graced our television screens, he was introduced to us as simply ‘Stephen Colletti’, a regular 18-year-old Orange County boy living his life. Only Colletti had cameras documenting all that ‘regular life’, as he made his on-screen debut in the hit MTV reality show Laguna Beach. Colletti didn’t remain as a reality TV star for long though. In 2006, he joined the cast of One Tree Hill as Chase Adams and has since remained a recurring character. Colletti recently discussed with me the transition of going from playing himself to playing a role on an established show and why his One Tree Hill experience has been something he’ll never forget. He also shares fun stories from the special finale filmed in Utah, the new side of Chase viewers will soon see, and much more!

  • ‘One Tree Hill’ may go off the air, but it won’t take Sophia Bush with it!
Post Categories: Sophia Bush • By Owner • 29 April, 2010
Sophia

‘One Tree Hill’s’ future may be undecided, but that’s clearly not the case with Sophia Bush’s career. Bush has been keeping busy while waiting to hear the fate of the show that launched her career. She has recently been cast in the ABC comedy pilot, ‘Southern Discomfort’.

Bush will play the part of Haley, a Harvard-educated daughter who turns down a dream job in New York to move back home with her parents and reunite with her old boyfriend. The show also stars Don Johnson and Mary Steenburgen, as her parents.

The 27-year-old actress has been a key ‘Tree Hill’ resident since the shows’ first season. She has even taken her turn at directing an episode. The pilot deal is in second place to her famous role of Brooke Davis on the CW drama. She is scheduled to return to ‘One Tree Hill’ if it is to be picked up for an eighth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The pilot will tape Thursday, April 29 in Los Angeles. If you’re in the area and would like to be a part of the live studio audience, click here.

For the moment, you can watch Sophia Bush on ‘One Tree Hill’ Monday nights at 8pm on the CW!
