BROOKE LASHES OUT AT JULIAN As Brooke (Sophia Bush) angrily deals with Alexs (Jana Kramer) tryst with Julian (Austin Nichols), Lydias (guest star Bess Armstrong) condition worsens, prompting Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) and Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) to try to reconnect with Taylor (guest star Lindsey McKeon). Clay (Robert Buckley) is forced to deal with Katies (guest star Amanda Schull) unsettling advances, and Nathan (James Lafferty) helps Jamie (Jackson Brundage) come to terms with Lydias impending death. Lee Norris, Lisa Goldstein and Antwon Tanner also star. Joe Davola directed the episode written by Mike Daniel

But which Derek?
Hint: He’s not crazy.
That’s right ? Ernest Waddell is returning to the CW’s One Tree Hill this season, and for multiple episodes, sources tell TVGuide.com.
As best my resident Tree Hill historian, Robyn, can explain it, shortly after Peyton’s momma, Ellie, passed on, she learned she had a half-brother out there, somewhere. Enter Psycho Derek (played by Matt Barr). That Derek, however, was just a poser/flim-flam man/all-out psycho.
Just as “Derek” got his comeuppance, Peyton’s actual sibling surfaced, and he was a tough-as-nails Marine with a tender heart. After a four-episode run in 2006, Waddell’s Derek was deployed to Iraq, but not until he could escort his sis to a basketball banquet honoring Nathan. ? Matt Mitovich

SEASON 6 IS THE LAST SEASON OF OTH
The network tried to offer Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray a ton of money to stay for another season (S7) but they both turned the offer down. I dont know if the rest of the cast was made an offer and turned it down but the two I mentioned did at least.
