• Lee Norris on ArtistsonDemand Radio

Lee was on ArtistsonDemand Radio tonight after the Season Finale of One Tree Hill.  It was a fun interview and he spoke a lot about how he got involved in the entertainment industry and about his favourite memories from this season.  He was also asked about the official fate of the show, to which he responded, “[Some fans might think we know about Season 8 but, we don't ... I have heard all the rumours about half a season pick up and things of that nature but, we know nothing official .. its a business and in the end, a business decision... we won't know for sure until the CW Upfronts on Thursday when the network officially announces their fall line up...]“

The last 20 minutes of the hour long interview were dedicated to fan questions and they took callers.  I happened to be the very last caller they took! It was great to speak with Lee again, he truly is the most amazing guy!

Me speaking to Lee and then him talking about Season 8!

(and I would just like to say that after I spoke with Lee, at the end of the interview, one of the interviewers commented saying, ‘wow …. she had a lot of talking’ but, in my defense, I was taking advantage of the little bit of time I had with him … I just found their comment rude and unnecessary.  Lee was talking back and forth to me and answering my question.. what did they want me to do? Stop him and say that I can no longer speak to him, yeah right!  I just had to shake my head when I heard them say that! but, thankfully Lee was there to respond, “[I'm telling you ... we have the best fans, so passionate and dedicated! ....]” And that settles that :)

  • Bethany Joy Galeotti talks ‘One Tree Hill’, ‘The Notebook Musical’, & her plans for the future!
Post Categories: Bethany Joy • By Owner • 16 May, 2010
Bethany Joy

Bethany Joy Galeotti defines the word talent in just about every dimension. With her leading role on One Tree Hill, Galeotti has shown us she can act, sing, write music, and even direct. There’s no doubt Galeotti has thrived these past seven years with the role of Haley James Scott. A role that if described into one word would be ‘versatile’, as we’ve seen her go from a high school student, to a wife, singer, mother, teacher, music producer, sister, friend, and just about everything in between! Yet as Galeotti told me in our exclusive interview, playing the diverse role of Haley has not been much different than the role she takes on in her own life, as a person with her hands dipped in various projects.

In addition to One Tree Hill and her band Everly, Galeotti most recently has transformed the New York Times best-selling novel and hit film The Notebook into a live musical production. And she’s got a family restaurant on the side. I was quite honored when Galeotti generously took time out of her busy life to chat with me about the process of writing the music for The Notebook, her upcoming plans with Everly, and the exciting journey she’s taken with One Tree Hill.

  • Kate Voegele on making a difference with her music & how ‘One Tree Hill’ changed her life!

Kate Voegele

When One Tree Hill jumped ahead four years for its fifth season, there were many new gains that came along with the forward plunge. One of those gains was a young new musical talent from Cleveland, Ohio by the name of Kate Voegele. Voegele joined the Tree Hill cast playing a role not too far from where she had been just a few years earlier as a new artist trying to get the songs she’s written heard. Three years later, the only thing that hasn’t changed is that Voegele’s still young, but her music is definitely being heard and liked! She’s released two albums, successfully toured, and become an established actress on One Tree Hill. The very sweet Voegele took time out of her busy schedule recently to chat with me about the many valuable ways One Tree Hill has influenced her life, the drama ahead for Mia, and the most rewarding and challenging parts of being a songwriter and singer! Just like when listening to Voegele’s music, one thing is also clear when listening to her speak about her passion and dedication to her art, it’s going to allow her to be around for a very, very long time.

  • Sophia & Austin help fight MS!

Sophia & Austin

Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols not only significantly contribute their talent to their leading roles on One Tree Hill, they also significantly contribute their time off-screen to giving back to vital causes.
The TV-duo took time out of their busy schedules to attend the star-studded ‘ 17th Annual Race to Erase MS’ Gala Friday night in order to increase further awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. Every year the gala raises millions for the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis and its Center without Walls Program.

“I’ve supported Race to Erase MS for three years. I believe in the organization and I’m always happy to hear what they’ve raised. I have a lot of friends whose families are affected by the illness and I think it’s something that we all need to pay attention to and be aware of”, Bush said at the gala. “When you can come out and support a cause that means something, I think it’s great.”

Showing her support to causes that mean something is nothing new to Bush. She’s an active participator of The Art of Elysium, an organization that has artists voluntarily contribute their time and talent to incorporate the arts into the lives of children with serious medical conditions.
“To be able to give your time, to be able to share your art, bring joy back to people, particularly young people who’ve been through something unfortunate..” , Bush says on the special impact of being with the children of The Art of Elysium.

Nichols agrees on the special benefits the arts can have on those going through a difficult time. “I believe in the healing power of the arts and whenever anyone can bring art into anyone’s life, it’s a special thing”, he said.

  • Rally at the Rivercourt – TOMORROW
Post Categories: Show • By Owner • 7 May, 2010

Just a reminder to those planning on attending and those who might not know about it!

One Tree Hill Fan Gathering Saturday May 8th at 2:00p.m.
Post by: carolinaothfan

I am organizing a One Tree Hill fan gathering at the river court next to the battleship this Saturday, May 8th, at 2:00p.m.. The River court is an iconic symbol of the television show One Tree Hill. My intentions are to get a large crowd of fans there and take a group photo that we can send the the CW Network to show our support for One Tree Hill and an eight season of this show. I am asking you to spread the word as soon as possible so that more people will know about it. I am limited in my connections and resources and that is why I am asking you for help. The point is to have fun with fellow fans and to show the CW Network that we want a season 8!

Please Come out to show your support!
